Melita Armitage is an independent cultural policy and research consultant. She has fifteen years' experience working with leading organisations within the cultural and creative industries. Her work focuses on social inclusion and diversity, professional development and leadership.
The consultancy offers policy and strategy guidance, research, evaluation and project management. This covers the preparation of briefing documents, case study analysis and business plans, as well as providing information, monitoring and training. Projects undertaken may be pan-cultural, dealing with for example leadership, education, young people, audience development or disability; or they may be concerned with specific areas such as dance, theatre, visual arts, music, sport, heritage or literature.
Melita Armitage works across the UK. Based in Somerset, she has a particular interest in culture and social enterprise throughout the South West. Clients include cultural agencies, arts and heritage organisations, devolved and local government bodies.
