Activity Plan for a second round Heritage Lottery Fund applciation for this Grade I listed 15th Century building, which is part of Taunton Castle. The building had been a school from the late 18th Century and intermittently until at least the 1840s. Also important because of its long association with Somerset Archaeological and Natural History Society (SANHS), who purchased Taunton Castle in 1874.
Castle House is now managed by the South West Heritage Trust in conjunction with The Museum of Somerset.
