The All Saints Langport, Youth Project was conceived to provide young people aged 16-24 with an opportunity to create a community resource within the All Saints church, Langport (Grade I listed building). The purpose of the project was to empower young people to take on responsibility for a community asset and to consult with residents to see if there was an appetite to convert the church to another use for the benefit of the community.

I mentored a young person to lead the project, develop an identity for the group - the "New Saints" - and supported successful fundraising applications to HLF and local trust.  I brokered a relationship with Somerset Art Works, who delivered the Hunky Punk education project in partnership with the young people.  Images (right) show the Hunky Punks.
