WHITECHAPEL GALLERY
Access Policy & Plan
2004
Back in 2009, an ambitious £13 million expansion saw the Whitechapel almost double in size, cementing its position as a keystone in the capital's art scene. Highlights of the new development included a beautiful, purpose-designed Reading Room and a dedicated Gallery offering increased access to the Whitechapel Gallerys archive of over 100 years of material including: publications, rare documents, artist’s letters, photographs, graphic works, press records, exhibition plans and installations, recordings on tape and video of artists, critics and curators.
I joined a team of consultants to support the successful Heritage Lottery Fund application, focusing on the Access Policy & Plan.
