Snow joke

I've been really lucky that so many people have been willing to support my first Half Marathon attempt and to make a donation to The Lewis Moody Foundation. I was all ready to run it tomorrow and then the snow came down and the race got cancelled.

Since Friday, I've had six text messages from friends and neighbours to say how sorry they were that the Bathalf had been cancelled, each acknowledging the time and effort I'd put into training. People are lovely, aren't they?

I'm now running the Yeovil Half Marathon on 25 March 2018. Same challenge, different location and a bit hilly ... gulp!
